MONDAY OPEN LEAGUE

A mix of social and competitive curling. This league is great for all levels of curling skill. It is open gender and requires team registration. Ages are 14 and above. Draw time is 6:30.

 

THE BELL RULE.

The reason is to allow the late draws to get on the ice as close to their draw time as possible.

The bell will ring at an hour and forty five minutes after the posted early draw time. Teams will be allowed to finish the end they are currently in, but can not start a new end after the bell is rung. We do encourage you if you are on the late draw to show up early and see if any sheets have become available.

TUESDAY PENSIONERS MIXED

This is a pay as you play league. The emphasis is on the social and comradery side of the game. Open to both Members and Non-members, this is a great way to meet and play with new people every week, cost is $7/game for members and $14/ for non-members. Draw time is 9:30 am.

Sign up at 8:45am to 9:15am (first 48 players)

TUESDAY STICK CURLING

Like Tuesday Morning Mixed this is pay as you play, this is a great way to play the game without having to get in the hack. It’s all about the fun with this group, sticks only, and “NO SWEEPING”. The perfect way to spend an hour and a half on a Tuesday afternoon. The cost is $7/game for members and $12/game for non-members. Draw time is 12 pm.

ADULT LEARN TO CURL

This league is for those new to curling! If you've never curled or have curled less than 5 years but have never received any lesson, this league is for you! An 8 week program that will teach you everything you need to know about curling!

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Take what you've learnt in the Adult Learn to Curl League and put it into practice in this rookie league! Anyone coming out of the Learn to Curl League or with less than 5 years of curling experience, this league is for you!

WEDNESDAY OPEN COMPETITIVE LEAGUE

So you think you can curl? Try hanging with Sudbury’s best curlers in our Competitive League. Nothing social here until after the game. It is open gender and requires team registration. Ages 14 and above. Draw time is 6:45 pm.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON LADIES

Curling, lunch and wine. What could be better? This group of ladies knows how to have fun. Sign up as an individual and get put on a team. Sorry men, ladies only. Draw time is 1pm. 

THURSDAY'S MEN'S TEACHERS LEAGUE

Unwind after teaching our youth. Curling, Beer, and Wings. This is a rental league. Sorry ladies, this league is all about the men. Draw time is 4:30pm.

Need to be put on a team? Want to meet new people? This is the league for you. All skill levels are welcome, teams get scrambled up every 6-8 weeks, open gender. Draw times are 7pm and 9pm.

FRIDAY PENSIONERS MIXED

This is a noncommittal pay-as-you-play league. The emphasis is on the social and camaraderie side of the game. Open to both members and non members, this a great way to meet and play with new people every week. Cost is $7/game for members and $14/game for non members. Draw time is 9:00am. Sign up at 8:00am to 8:40am (first 48 players)

FRIDAY SQUAD

This is a team-based Rental League: Geared to Seniors, Open Gender. Draw time is 11:30 am.

FRIDAY DOUBLES

This league has been developed most recently and is a small but growing league in the club with new players taking interest every season. The 2 vs 2 play makes this the only unique game format in our leagues compared to the standard game of curling. Draw time is alternating each week with Friday Mixed, 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

FRIDAY MIXED

A night of socializing and fun with a little curling mixed in. Teams are mixed gender. Draw time are alternating each week with Friday Doubles, 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

SATURDAY INDUSTRIAL LEAGUE

One of the longest-running leagues in the country. This league is open gender and is a rental league. With a 16 week season and a closing bonspiel you can’t go wrong joining this league. Draw times are 9:00am and 11:30am.  Contact Marc at mfpilon@sympatico.ca or George at geolal351@gmail.com

SUNDAY BAR BELL

Finish your weekend off with this Sunday morning league, then enjoy our Ceasar Sundays. This rental league is all about playing hard and enjoying the company afterwards. Draw time is 10:00am.
